About Summer Scott

Summer Scott is a Canadian artist whose work moves across drawing, painting, and collage. Working in water media and cut paper, she builds richly coloured surfaces animated by graphic elements and deeply symbolic natural spaces.

Summer's vivid and playful work is inspired by the cyclical movements of nature and explores the intersection between myth and imagination. Through a distinctive visual language rooted in animism, symbolism, and interconnectedness, she conjures atmospheric dreamscapes where the wild and the imagined fold into each other.

Summer is a graduate of NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and resides on Canada's west coast, on the unceded traditional territory of the K'ómoks First Nation.
